Who we are

VowAsia is an English-language wedding publication covering Asia, edited in Singapore. We publish real weddings from across the region, reported guides to venues and destinations, style and planning advice, and news from the wedding industry itself. We are a new publication with a simple promise: cover weddings the way a good magazine covers anything — accurately, beautifully and independently.

Why Asia needs a wedding magazine of its own

Asia is the largest wedding market in the world, yet its weddings have never had a single English-language home. The international titles look at the region from far away. The local sites stop at their own borders. VowAsia covers the whole picture: a tea ceremony in Singapore, a three-day celebration in Phuket, a cliffside ceremony in Bali, a pre-wedding shoot in Seoul — and the venues, planners and designers behind all of them. International couples get a region’s worth of ideas and practical answers. Asia’s wedding industry gets a credible stage.

What we cover

Real Weddings tells the stories of actual celebrations, with the couple’s blessing and every vendor credited — a section we are building with photographers and planners across the region, and one we would rather grow slowly than fill carelessly. Venues reports on where Asia gets married, with capacities, styles and real prices. Destination Weddings covers marrying away from home: destinations, budgets, pre-wedding shoots and honeymoons. Style follows gowns, rings, beauty and flowers. Planning delivers checklists, budgets and expert answers. The Wedding Business serves the industry with news, data and interviews. The Press Room publishes industry announcements in full, clearly labeled and kept apart from editorial.

A vetted directory of the region’s wedding professionals — planners, photographers, gown houses, jewelers and more — is in preparation and will open with a curated founding collection. Admission will be editorial, never bought.

Who reads us

Two audiences, one standard. The first is the couple planning a wedding in Asia — at home or as a destination — who wants beautiful ideas backed by accurate, current information. The second is the wedding industry itself: hotels and venues, planners, designers, jewelers, beauty and floral professionals, and the tourism boards competing for the region’s celebrations.

Our network

VowAsia is published by Asia Press Centre Group (APCG), a Singapore-headquartered media network of 12 English-language titles across business, travel, lifestyle, luxury, golf and technology. Our sister titles include GlobalTravelPost in travel — a natural companion for honeymoons and destination weddings. Our awards are presented with the Asia Awards Organisation, APCG’s awards body.
